Was there a time when you connected with people face-to-face instead of \u201cFacebooking\u201d them?<\/p>\n<p style=\"text-align: left\">Life has changed greatly in the last 10 years\u2014and so has ministry. Putting off the move to online tools and social media is no longer an option for those who lead volunteers.<\/p>\n<p style=\"text-align: left\">Today\u2019s technologies can make ministry more effective. It allows us to connect with a generation that grew up on tweets, hashtags, and texting.\u00a0 Take this assessment to see how you&#8217;re integrating technology with ministry.<\/p>\n<p style=\"text-align: left\">Rate your answers:\u00a0 3 \u2013 Consistently true;\u00a0 2 \u2013 Sometimes true;\u00a0 1 \u2013 Rarely true;\u00a0 0 \u2013 Not at all.<\/p>\n<p style=\"text-align: left\">___1. I\u2019m familiar with Snapchat and have used this application.<\/p>\n<p style=\"text-align: left\">___9. I have an Instagram app on my phone.<\/p>\n<p style=\"text-align: left\">___10. I regularly conduct virtual ministry meetings in applications such as Google Groups and Wiggio.<\/p>\n<p style=\"text-align: left\"><strong><span style=\"text-decoration: underline\">Score<\/span><\/strong><\/p>\n<p style=\"text-align: left\"><strong>21-30<\/strong>\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0 Tech nerd alert! You are fully integrated in the methods of today\u2019s technologies.<\/p>\n<p style=\"text-align: left\"><strong>10-20<\/strong>\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0 Getting started. You understand the basics of online tools and social media but they\u2019re not fully integrated into your ministry or lifestyle.<\/p>\n<p style=\"text-align: left\"><strong>0-9\u00a0<\/strong>\u00a0 \u00a0 \u00a0 Dinosaur zone.
