Are you really making a difference? And if so, how can you know?\u00a0<\/span><span data-ccp-props=\"{}\">\u00a0<\/span><\/p>\n<p><span data-contrast=\"auto\">In school, teachers give tests and take scores so they can measure of their progress. But spiritual growth isn\u2019t calculated with numbers. Faith has nothing to do with quantifying Bible knowledge or tracking some kind of spiritual data. <\/span><span data-ccp-props=\"{}\">\u00a0<\/span><\/p>\n<p><span data-contrast=\"auto\">Spiritual growth is relational growth, and there are some clear signs when it\u2019s happening. <\/span><span data-ccp-props=\"{}\">\u00a0<\/span><\/p>\n<p><span data-contrast=\"auto\">Since <a href=\"http:\/\/group.com\/bebold\">BE BOLD<\/a> is designed to get kids talking, that will be your first indication that kids are engaged. They\u2019ll be talking to each other, sharing their thoughts in their own unique ways. Since you\u2019re not lecturing (and hoping for some kind of connection), BE BOLD\u2019s conversational questions will give you automatic, authentic feedback about what kids are thinking and feeling. You\u2019ll hear for yourself how kids are pulling meaning from your discussions. <\/span><span data-ccp-props=\"{}\">\u00a0<\/span><\/p>\n<p><span data-contrast=\"auto\">You can also see evidence through kids\u2019 body language. Are they making eye contact with you and other children? Are they leaning <\/span><span data-contrast=\"auto\">forward or moving closer to you and your group? Do you see any heads tilted to one side? These are all signs of attention and engagement.\u00a0<\/span><span data-ccp-props=\"{}\">\u00a0<\/span><\/p>\n<p><span data-contrast=\"auto\">For the most specific kind of feedback, look to what kids are saying during their Mystery Mission\u00a0<\/span><span data-contrast=\"auto\">R<\/span><span data-contrast=\"auto\">eports. This is when you\u2019ll have the opportunity to hear if the BE BOLD experiences are making a difference outside the classroom. (Remember, too, not to expect major e<\/span><span data-contrast=\"auto\">piphanies or mountaintop-type responses every time. Real growth comes in steps, and usually small ones.)<\/span><span data-ccp-props=\"{}\">\u00a0<\/span><\/p>\n<p><span data-contrast=\"auto\">If your kids are talking about the material in the BE BOLD scope and sequence, then you can know you\u2019re getting through.
