Prayer brings peace to our hearts and minds and invites God to do an incredible work through our VBS. So as the months start zooming by, use this as a reminder to stop and talk to God. After all, prayer is the best way to prepare for your VBS!
To help ensure prayer is at the forefront of your VBS, we’ve created these prayer cards for you to use in your congregation.
Here are a few ways you can use them:
- Print the prayer cards and hand them out to your congregation. Ask each person in your church to take one, or a few, and devote time every day in prayer for what’s written on their card.
- Share a new prayer each week on your social media accounts and email newsletters. Ask those reading the post to stop and say a prayer for your VBS.
- Include these prayers in your weekly church staff meetings and VBS planning meetings.
- Post a new prayer each week on your church bulletin or weekly handout.
