This Easter, use these 3 free ways to encourage your volunteers while they serve. Your team will put a lot of effort into planning activities and special events to celebrate Easter—and for good reason. Jesus’ sacrifice and resurrection is the cornerstone of our faith. But serving at Easter can exhaust and distract your team. Here are three ways to encourage your amazing team:

1. Give your team this What You Do Matters posterHang this free poster somewhere that your team will see often! When your team gets tired, it can be a struggle to remember that what they do matters in the lives of children.

2. Show this free “What’s the Point of Children’s Ministry” video to your team. This heartwarming video is based on a true story and a real reminder of why your team’s involvement in ministry is so important in the lives of children

3. Share this free “It’s Not Complicated” devotion with your team. Download this free devotion to share with your volunteers. You can hand out copies, share it by email, or post it to a Facebook group for your team. This devotion comes from a book called You Don’t Have to Be a Superhero to Change the World.

Our prayer is that these 3 ways to encourage your volunteers will resurrect their spirits as you and your team celebrate our Savior’s resurrection!

Kylee brings her fair share of energy (and cupcakes!) to Group's Children's Ministry Team. Ministry has taken her all over Latin America but now that she has settled stateside, she loves hanging out with her high school girls' small group. On the weekends, you are likely to find her either in the kitchen or at the local thrift stores. She and her husband secretly want to be just like Chip and Joanna Gaines.
