Keep VBS kids coming back with fun fall events

Keep VBS kids coming back with fun fall events
July 20, 2016 Sharon Stratmoen

Did you know that hosting a fall festival or family outreach event is a great way to bring your VBS kids and their families back to your church? They’ll love the exciting games and activities, parents will love the safe and fun environment—and you’ll love seeing kids learn more about Jesus.

Fall Festivals are an easy and friendly way to reach out to families and share the gospel message with many who are looking to the church for a fun and safe Halloween alternative.  With a minimal number of volunteers and supplies, you can reach kids and families at a fun, relaxed event…with a purpose!

With fall right around the corner now is the time to begin planning your event. These 1- to 2-hour events are the perfect outreach program for any size church or community. Check out these two fun themes to use as a fall follow-up to VBS… a Halloween alternative, a Harvest festival–any time you want a special event for kids of all ages and their families. If you love Group VBS, you’ll love these too! And…Brave Cave is the perfect follow-up to Group’s Cave Quest VBS!
